I just wanted to take this time to thank J&H Commercial for your services for the Charlestown Rascal project. Both the Client and Built were very impressed with J&H’s service. Right from the start, they showed enthusiasm and they took the time to go through the quote in detail and in person. The sales representative was always contactable, very helpful in offering alternatives, problem solving along the way and providing information required for the site team. There was a lot of chopping and changing, however this didn’t seem to phase J&H, and from our perspective, this makes our job easier when the subcontractor doesn’t complain because of changes. We were all impressed with how quickly J&H were able to turn things around with the very short timeframes and high expectations. Yes, there was an error with the quilted stainless, but what impressed me was the way you have accepted this and provided solutions for the Client. We will definitely consider J&H for any other projects we have coming up as well as recommending them to other people. It’s always a risk to try a new subcontractor, especially on a project like this with such a tight programme, but it has paid off. The commercial kitchen market in Newcastle needed a shake up, so keep up the good work! We look forward to working with J&H again soon.

“I had some ongoing issues with the Glycol cooling units within our brewery. We were using a company that had been with us for many years, however these issues always remained, although temporary fixes would be put in place. I asked a friend who was in the home air-conditioning industry, who he could recommend for the industrial size units that we have here on site. He mentioned a name of, as he put it, one of his very best ex-employees, who had moved on to work on bigger production style cooling systems. Through this recommendation I followed up and brought in J & H Air Conditioning and Equipment. From the very first visit I recognised the difference in the approach to the job in hand and the level of professionalism that they applied to the job. After the initial job was done, they made really helpful advice of how things could be streamlined and energy costs reduced. Since then I have had very little to do with them, as when these guys "fix" things, they stay fixed. There has been none of the continual band aid solutions that I have previously encountered and the peace of mind that this gives is invaluable.”
